The codification scheme used for the coded identification is indicated by the coding scheme attribute and shall indicate the code “305” for an EIC party code. Alphanumeric The maximum length of a transferor market participant’s identification is 16 alphanumeric characters.

The maximum length of the coding scheme code is 3 alphanumeric characters.

This field is mandatory only in the case of secondary market reporting. The Edigas implementation guide only caters for EIC codes, it does not allow any other identification codes.
